• I wrote a ruby script for extracting JPEG images from the Hawking HNC230G network camera, requiring ruby and imagemagick. It's available under the terms of the GPL, here.
  • I've added a script adding motion-detection ability to this camera: if it detects a sufficiently large change in successive frame contents, it starts dumping frames at a greater rate into the current directory for a few seconds.
• I have two scripts to take GPS track-data output by gpstrans and convert track information to KML for use in Google Earth, and to insert location data into PostgreSQL in bulk.
